Thank you, Fred-Rick, for your honest feedback. I really appreciate that. I shall soon take up electoral reforms for one of my write-ups. I completely agree with you that we need some serious voting reforms as the current rules undermine the ability of many to have an equal voice in government and policy. We need to make democracy more inclusive, and doing that would require us to go beyond just one aspect of it - the political aspect, the elections. Certainly, that is the most important aspect; however, for our governments to be meaningfully democratic, we cannot separate politics from other facets of development, i.e., social, economic, and moral pledges. Democracy must unite, whereas politics always divides. So, while we urgently need to address problems such as gerrymandering, lobbying, Campaign finance, biased voting rules, etc., we also need to focus on elements other than elections to strengthen our democracy.

I must thank you once again for motivating me to write more and write better.

Regards, Sakshi.
