The problem is not with the withdrawal of the troops per se and, rather, is rooted in the error of execution. The exit has been chaotic. It could have been planned more carefully. How did the Biden administration not see this coming? Perhaps they ran out of strategic patience or something. All in all, this has harmed America's alliances and its security in the future. And I feel particularly sad because it's the civilians that bear the brunt of any war, whether it's Afghans today or Americans tomorrow.
